Welcome to "iRest, Mindfulness, and Stress Reduction," an immersive eLearning course designed to empower you on your journey toward inner peace and well-being. In this course, we will explore the transformative practices of iRest Yoga Nidra and mindfulness, offering practical tools to manage stress and cultivate resilience in everyday life.

This is the precursor or introductory Course to the 8 Week iRest Yoga Nidra Program and Course that is also offered here at Better Wellness Naturally.

Stress, though a common term, is often shrouded in misconception. It is essentially our body's reaction to any form of demand or challenge, be it physical, mental, or emotional. While stress in moderation can be a catalyst for growth and achievement, excessive or prolonged stress can detrimentally affect our well-being. Our journey through this course will help you navigate the various dimensions of stress with a much better sense of ease and detachment.

Laura Weber Garrison, PhD, brings a wealth of experience as a psychotherapist, author, educator, and yoga therapy expert, with over twenty years dedicated to trauma resolution and helping at-risk populations. Her holistic approach in mental health is rooted in her Doctorate in Holistic Health and yoga therapy certifications. As an author of three books and numerous articles, Laura's contributions extend to leading immersive learning retreats in all-inclusive locations, conducting workshops, and facilitating groups.
